DIY'ers and the Second-Time Bride
With Wedding Decorations, You CAN Go Beautiful and Cheap...
Over the years, I’ve chatted with quite a few second-time brides. After attending many of these second weddings, it left me feeling a little sad for those brides that opted out of doing anything they really wanted to because it was “just their second time around.”

I really don't think it has to be that way. If you plan smart about the wedding choices you make, I truly think a beautiful, mood-setting event can be made, without breaking a modest or even small budget. So, day by day at Say I Do Wedding Store, I’m adding more and more of the things that
help YOU put together dreamy, beautiful, swoon-worthy wedding decorations and favors
. You'll also notice some photos of products I included in this post. (These are just a few of the items that I felt were friendly
to the pocketbook and that have a big impact on creating a true vibe for your
wedding decorations and reception ambiance.)
Just
because you have a family, a realistic budget or because it’s your second
wedding, doesn’t mean you don’t deserve something from your heart or dreams….
There’s room to meet in the middle and create these things for yourself or
perhaps with the help of friends and family…Heck, put those kiddos’ fingers to
work! ;)
As a lot of you have maybe found, there are some amazing DIY boards and blogs around that are dedicated to giving you ideas for these type of DIY projects… So, look forward to more of these being shared by us, and don’t forget to add us on Pinterest! Anytime I am running into these awesome DIY Wedding projects, I’m also sharing it on our boards! All for you….
Last, a little nugget for you. Below, you’ll find a video from one of my favorite DIY bloggers as well as her tutorial for How To Make Tissue Flowers that can be used for SOOOO many beautiful decorating ideas!! These gorgeous flowers can be used for centerpieces, kissingballs/decor, the list goes on... (And at less than $1 a roll, they're super cheap!) Personally, I love the step by step of her blog post, however the video was perfect for visually seeing exactly what I needed to do with the twisting and wrapping!
Enjoy and let me know what you think!!
